I have always had the heart for looking at things in a new way. I'm an avid painter and when BALAYAGE came into my life, it didn't take long to see that this is where I would shine.

Along with my love for hair, Extensions is the other form of art that keeps my passionate artistic soul happy, and allows me to express even more of your vision.

Im am so grateful for the spontaneous moments with the boys, the connection with my husband, as well as the difficult parts in between.

The hardest part it making sure the people I care about know that I’m thinking about them, but man does life travel so fast! It’s hard to keep up - 😓 between the holidays & the birthdays, everything that gets thrown to us in between.

2026 is going to be a year of growth that doesn’t require any setbacks. No matter what, we will be pushing through - finding light!
Finding true freishships, discovering new places that make me happy, I’m so ready to hurdle bigger mountains. 🏔️

🫧 Quick hair wash facts:
Dirty hair doesn’t grow slower — but a clogged scalp can get irritated and flaky.
• Scalp = skin. Treat it like skincare: cleanse the roots, condition the ends.
• Double cleanse is real: first wash breaks up oil/product, second wash actually cleans.
• It’s not “training” your hair — oil production is mostly hormones + genetics. (But routines can reduce buildup.)
• Hot water feels good… but warm is better for shine + less dryness.
• If your shampoo isn’t lathering, you might have buildup — or you’re using too much oil/silicone before wash day.
• Conditioner doesn’t belong on your scalp (unless it’s made for scalp use). Keep it mid-lengths to ends.
• Purple shampoo is not an everyday shampoo. Use it like a toner, not a lifestyle.
• Hard water can make hair feel rough + dull even with great products.
• Going to bed with wet hair can equal frizz, breakage, and sometimes scalp funk—dry it at least 70–80%.
• Dry shampoo is a “bridge,” not a bath. Buildup sneaks up fast.

When the weather changes so does the quality of our hair! Through the harsh chilly day we need to keep our ends and scalp happy 😊

- changing your shampoo and conditioner to a more scalp therapy or moisture line. Gives your mind the peace & confidence that your wash days will set you ahead for the next few days.

-add a masque once or twice a month to your routine. Especially when the snow starts to hit the ground. This will ensure through the hot showers and dry hats, sweaters, jackets ..etc. that you will keep feeding your ends with the proper amount of moisture to avoid breakage!

- GIRL…get the proper oil for your hair!! If you don’t love your oil then it’s not for you.
Keep trying a few samples to find the right one. You should be able to feel and see a difference in your ends while using it, WITHOUT being heavy or greasy!!!!

Good morning ladies,

This is for my ladies who wear extensions and are wondering why the base of theie wefts pop out or they feel loose.
If your weft “base” is wet and you go to brush it, style it, put a clip in it, go to bed with it wet then you’re rolling around on it, not tying your hair up at night. The result is your hair extensions will swell then, resulting in you snagging it and starting to undo the base which is holding that Hair on.

This cannot be cut with any hand tied weft because it will just result in unraveling, causing gaps in your wefts and style causing the wefts to look “thin” and possibly Issues with causing more hair to slide out.
😣You’re hurting your investment and won’t get the longevity you were hoping for!

Your wefts will need to get replaced asap! 😱

Is your blonde hair dried out, dull and screaming for a change?

There are many factors why your hair could be in desperation for therapy … but for now I know of 2 things that will change your hair in just 4 weeks.

#1 - 🫧Your using the wrong shampoo and conditioner!!

I know this seem so simple and pointless (your probably saying it’s just shampoo, it just needs to get my hair cleaned right?!) WRONG! Blonde, brunette or even extensions, all require their own kind of shower support.

Your shampoo and conditioner are the main thing that will get your hair back into the healthy shiny state your have waiting for.

Ladies!! There is a difference between bond building, keratine healing or even just moisture. Not all brands are the same kind of moisture that you need for your hair. It’s our job to find that specific shampoo for your needs, so when we suggest something please don’t bluff it off. We heard to say your needs in the consultation and now at the end of the appointment we are giving you when you need and it’s not just requiring a good haircut.

🍦Second thing is - your treatments.

When you looking to revamp your hairs state of living it’s important to add a treatment 2+ times a month in replacement of your conditioner to allow your hair to soak up what it’s lacking deeper.

Once you shampoo twice, now stick your head out of the shower and quickly towel dry lightly, then apply your treatment - BRUSH THAT THROUGHLY!! Doing this will open up those hair chunks that are holding in water and allowing you to pull your treatment through from mids to ends. Detangling, smoothing and strengthening.
Wait the time it says on the back of the bottle (mostly 5-10 mins) so grab your brush and do some simple dance moves while you wait. Rinse it well and enjoy the best shine!

3 reasons your blonde clients are feeling solid or washed out!

1) You are applying to many foils. Not only does this take time for the client to sit longer but you also took out all the depth to make the highs to be able to shine brighter.

2) your weaving too small all over. Doing the same weave/ movement will just cause a huge amount of the same thing. Nothing will POP.

3) Space out your partial foil, full foils & pops of fun 🤩 The highlights need the time in between to grow into the natural root color to create the perfect dimension.
This also gives the perfect dimension without needing ti add color unless requested.
I normally do a full foil on the 3rd appointment. This allows the length to keep healthy and growing. as well as giving them a break in their wallets. 🙌

I’m itching to get some warm weather soon and this cruise is just 2 weeks away! EEEK!

Acouple weeks ago I had one of my clients ask if I was packing already. I laughed saying “NO! I’m always a last minute packer”

Then she got me thinking - I haven’t put shorts, sun dress or a bathing suit on in MONTHS! So she really had a good thought… so here I am trying on everything I want to make sure I feel amazing in it. If I don’t like the way I feel then I won’t wear it there! I don’t want to over pack and as a woman with a HUGE LOVE FOR FASHION, I most likely still will 🤣

Does your clients scalp & hair look this clean after removing their Install?

Here are 3 reasons your clients hair isn’t growing with your with extensions:

1- the beads are causing too much micro pulls at the scalp, which is leaving the tension on the bulb inside!! This resulting in pulling the hair out during the time they are wearing them. Then add the brushing, pony tails, blow drying and sleeping on top of a high tension install will just make matters worse!

2- your adding too many grams on the row! Be sure your consultation is working with not just there goals but also what there hair can handle. Changing the length slightly can do wonders in achieving goals of length and fullness all while keeping the scalp and hair happy.

3- Not properly teaching them how to wash, brush and style their hair. One thing I teach hairstylists is clients will ALWAYS be more aggressive with their extensions and styling than we ever will. So properly teaching to brush a certain way, what level of tension the scalp can handle for styles.

I hope this helps you if your feeling stumped and just know that perfect doesn’t exist, only practice will create progress 💪
